Item 2.13 of ANSI/TIA-568.1-E-1 (2023) replaces the wireless access point recommendation of the parent clause 16 with a requirement for a minimum number of twisted-pair runs to each access point when twisted-pair is used, with augmented Category 6 performance as the floor for every run, and recommends extra horizontal links beyond that.
